Sally Sentence app for iPhone and iPad

Sally Sentence is a learning game built on words for beginning readers. When children enter the world of Sally Sentence, they tap, move, match, and rearrange words to compose a sentence they have seen and heard. Choosing from one of six original illustrations such as pets, bugs, or shore, children play with words.

Real-­‐voice audio helps the child read the sentence as it appears on the screen. As the words from the sentence float down, the child taps the words he or she sees in the sentence. The correct words fly back to the top in a jumble and the child rearranges the words to match the two sentences. A positive tone indicates the words in the sentence are correctly arranged. Play continues with the next sentence.

A no-­‐frills game, Sally Sentence helps children build their reading, writing, and thinking skills by matching words and rearranging them into simple, declarative sentences. Most important, children play with words in a playful context. This is the essence of Sally Sentence.
